Hollyhock ‘Halo Apricot’ Seeds
(Alcea rosea)
Seeds per Package: About 20
Hollyhock ‘Halo Apricot’ produces tall spikes of large apricot-colored flowers with a deep, darker center that creates a striking halo effect. The blooms open along strong upright stems, adding height and warm color to the summer garden. Plants typically grow 5–7 feet tall and attract bees, butterflies, and other pollinators.
These hollyhocks are a classic choice for cottage gardens and look especially beautiful planted along fences, walls, or at the back of flower beds.
How They Grow
• Biennial or short-lived perennial
• Height: 5–7 feet
• Bloom time: Mid to late summer
• Sun: Full sun
• Soil: Well-drained
• Easy to grow
Start seeds indoors 6–8 weeks before the last frost or sow directly outdoors in spring or early summer. Cover seeds lightly with soil and keep evenly moist until seedlings appear. Space plants about 18–24 inches apart for good air circulation.
In the Garden:
‘Halo Apricot’ hollyhocks provide vertical interest and soft peach tones that blend well with creams, pinks, and purples. They are excellent for cottage-style plantings and create a tall, colorful backdrop in sunny garden beds.
