Delphinium ‘Pacific Giant Series – Percival’ Seeds
(Delphinium cultorum)
Delphinium ‘Percival’ from the Pacific Giant Series produces tall spikes of soft lavender-blue flowers with bright white centers, often called “bee” markings. The blooms are densely packed along upright stems, creating a full and eye-catching display. Plants typically grow 4–6 feet tall and bloom in early to mid-summer.
This variety is known for its classic delphinium form, strong stems, and reliable performance. It attracts bees, butterflies, and other pollinators and also makes an excellent cut flower.
How They Grow
• Perennial
• Height: 4–6 feet
• Bloom time: Early to mid-summer
• Sun: Full sun to light shade
• Soil: Rich, well-drained
Start seeds indoors 8–10 weeks before the last frost. Lightly cover seeds and keep soil consistently moist until germination. Transplant outdoors after frost danger has passed. Provide support or staking as plants mature.
In the Garden:
‘Percival’ delphinium adds height and soft color to the back of borders and cottage-style plantings. The cool lavender-blue tones with white centers pair well with pinks, whites, and deeper blues, creating a layered and balanced garden display.
