Hollyhock ‘Charter’s Double Salmon Queen’ Seeds –
‘Charter’s Double Salmon Queen’ hollyhocks produce tall spikes of large, fully double blooms in soft shades of creamy salmon and peach. The ruffled petals create a full, rose-like appearance that adds height and color to summer gardens. Plants grow 5–7 feet tall on sturdy stalks and attract bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds.
These hollyhocks are excellent for the back of borders, along fences, or beside walls. Their gentle, warm tones blend beautifully with other pastel flowers and bring a classic cottage garden feel.
Growing Notes:
Start indoors 6–8 weeks before the last frost or direct sow outdoors in spring or early summer.
Cover seeds lightly with soil and keep moist until germination.
Prefers full sun and well-draining soil.
Space plants 18–24 inches apart for good air flow.
Water regularly at the base to avoid wetting leaves.
Remove spent flowers to encourage more blooms.
Blooms in mid to late summer. Biennial or short-lived perennial in zones 3–8.
In the Garden:
‘Charter’s Double Salmon Queen’ hollyhocks make a beautiful backdrop for flower beds and borders. Their tall, peach-toned blooms pair well with purples, creams, and soft pinks, creating a warm and elegant display in summer gardens.
