Developed from South American Petunia species, grandiflora/thunbergia‑type hybrids like ‘Superbissima’ are favorites for beds, borders, containers, and hanging displays where bold, nonstop flowering is desired.

Plant in full sun for the most prolific flowering and compact habit; in hot climates some afternoon shade helps prolong bloom. It prefers fertile, well‑drained garden soil or potting mix amended with compost and benefits from consistent moisture—avoid waterlogged conditions. Regular, balanced feeding (every 2–4 weeks) encourages steady bloom without promoting overly lush, floppy growth.
